Laura graduated from Tara Lara School of Dog Grooming, located in Portland Oregon, after successfully completing the Master Course Of Dog Grooming, in 1988. In 1989 Laura purchased Wags and Whiskers. Laura, a lifelong lover of all things dogs, cats and horses, is owned by 2 Shih Tzu mixes Daphne and Alfie, Shih Tzu Emmy Lu, as well as felines Boo and Joe. In April of 2009 Brandi Ward Joined the Staff of Wags and Whiskers. Brandi grew up in the St. Louis Mo. area. Brandi was introduced to pet grooming when hired as a bather. Shortly thereafter, she attended grooming school, and over the years, has strived to better her skills by attending trade shows and seminars, as well as frequenting on-line pet grooming forums. She is certified in pet CPR, and has been a member of various grooming associations. Brandi has been married for almost 9 years, and has a dog, Maggie. Last year she moved to Indiana from St. Louis, Missouri after her husband Mike accepted a position at Taylor University. They happily call Upland home.
